Kim graduated from the Univer­sity of Helsinki with a master’s degree in law and is comple­ting a docto­rate in law at the same univer­sity. The subject of the research is private inter­na­tional law and Euro­pean law. Kim teaches inter­na­tional private law both at the Open Univer­sity and in the Master of Laws degree program. In addi­tion to this, he has published articles in jurispru­den­tial publica­tions, as well as prepared Finland’s country report for FIDE in 2022.
